Still undecided on my next mobile phone.

I was dead set on getting an LG Viewty, in red.  But after seeing some of the pictures reviewers have taken with the phone, I realized cellphone cameras are still fairly crappy.  Or well, that’s my impression anyway.  I am probably better off spending EUR 150 to 200 on a decent compact camera, and paying a bit less for a mobile phone.

So, I went looking for a good mobile phone to use for SSH and a bit of browsing. This thread on slashdot has some useful comments — it looks like the most useful phones for SSH are the ugliest business phones you can buy, Nokias and Blackberries.

Now, on one hand.. I’m nerdy enough to actually use ssh a fair amount.  On the other hand, I’m fashion victim enough that purchasing an ugly black or silver mobile phone just is not an option.

So.  I’m stuck.

Oh well, atleast I’ve decided on a nice pink compact camera.
